If you hire a moving company make sure they are approved by the military. Most military moving companies have insurance to cover damages if anything should happen to your property during the move. If you are doing do it yourself military moving the vehicles that you rent should be insured too. For instance, if you are pulling a trailer it should be insured. If you are involved in an accident during the performance of military moving you should notify the police and get an accident report.
